Recording Details

Michael Hunter became involved in our Brave project as assistant engineer at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool. He went on to work with us at the Racket Club and on tour, engineering studio recording and assisting Mark Kelly with keyboard maintenance and programming. He has a voracious appetite for all things inspired or experimental, and therefore, a natural choice of 'architect' for this venture

River was composed and performed (no sequencers) by Mike and includes musical themes and effects lifted from our pre-1994 albums. This music was originally conceived to provide an ambience in the room to set up an atmosphere which would lead to the live performance of the Brave album.
